Our history
- SLNA was established in 1950, tying us for the second oldest neighborhood association in Wauwatosa!
- Its goal is to build community strength by encouraging membership participation, interaction, and friendships with neighbors.
- The SLNA board and association members work together on action plans to organize social events and provide regular communications. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all in our community.
How to get involved
- TGIF's! During the summer months we gather at a volunteers driveway or backyard to socialize. It's a great way to meet your neighbors!
- Volunteer! Every awesome event is run completely by volunteers. We can always use help with set up, take down, or even hosting an event.
- Join the Board! It’s not a huge commitment. We meet more formally a few times a year to plan big events and then keep in touch with other projects through email.
